Today I was digging for some info on ‘large lcd tvs’ and came across the following section:
Ralph Grabowski notes in a recent blog entry that several companies including Microsoft, Autodesk and even CNN are demonstrating use of very large multi-touch flatpanel LC screens. Right now these displays cost upwards of $100,000. The emphasis really needs to be on right now. The prices for flat panel TVs and computer displays are declining very aggressively year over year and are now in the range that consumers are purchasing them in droves. In fact, a quick Google shopping search indi

Today I was digging for some info on ‘lcdtv reviews’ and came across the following section:
SONY BRAVIADecember 7th, 2007 Customer Reviews Great picture, great reception and great sound I had a first generation analogue LCD (LG) for the kitchen/breakfast room and thought it was about time I updated for digital. My main TV is a large screen HD LCD with picture via V+ cable box, so I was expecting to be disappointed with this little Sony - but wow, it impressed straight out of the box. Set up was a doddle and the tuner seemed able to squeeze every last digital station out of the eth

Home Theatre Speakers - What You Need To Know
Speaker types There are four basic home theater speaker categories: towers, satellites, subwoofers, and center channels. A tower speaker is a tall, freestanding model capable of reproducing a full range of sound. Satellites, which can be used as both front or rear-channel (surround) speakers, are small, bass-limited models designed to be paired with a subwoofer - a dedicated speaker for reproducing both bass and the low-frequency-effects channel in Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. Ok, so basically my basment is getting renovated and we are going to put a home theater system down there. We want a good TV (not a cheap Westinghouse). Our budget limit is $2200 AT MOST (if even that). There are some good quality TVs at Best Buy & Circuit City that I can find online for hundreds of dollars cheaper. Someone told me the best bang for your buck is to go with a DLP with LED. We will mostly be using the TV for watching regular channels on DirecTV (we will most likely switc

This is a refurbished HDTV but lets be honest this is an amazing deal. About a year and a few months ago I bought my Vizio 42 720p LCD for $1,300. The idea that you can get such a large TV for such a good price is mind blowing. Ive always been a fan of Vizios TVs they are an incredible value brand and I love mine. This one Im sure is no different 42 is the lowest you can go and still get value out of having it be 1080p so this is a great way to get HD in the home on the cheap. I do sugg

I’ve a passion for Electronics and keep looking for information on it. Today, I checked if I could find more info by entering ‘difference between plasma and lcd tvs’ in Google and found this:
UK PR Fiona Pinkney has confirmed to TechRadar that the eagerly-anticipated G9 (9th generation) TVs will arrive in May as planned. The only change for the G10 sets (due 2009) will be that the plasma panels inside them will be sourced from a third-party manufacturer, rather than being made by Pioneer itself. Going to a third-party for a big chunk of the tech inside your TV looks surprising, but is actually pretty common Sony uses LCD panels made by Samsung, for example, Philips has a tie-in w

Think of your TVs, Blueray players, LCD computer monitors, speakers - these are practical areas we can work on to save electricity. … If such a technology was available, and all the malls and commercial buildings used it, imagine how much less humid our atmosphere would be and how much natural e nergy we would be harnassing.
